Deploying New Models After Setup

Two paths to add a model to this device after Setup:

  1. Sign in to control.locai.co.uk.
  2. Go to Devices, then click this device by name.
  3. Under Models, click Deploy and pick a model from your account catalogue.
  4. Control dispatches a DEPLOY_MODEL command to this device. Within a second, the download starts.
  5. The companion tray icon updates: Models - 1 serving appears, and if you open the submenu you see the progress row.

From the companion Preferences​

Once the "Available to download" panel is enabled, you can pick a model directly from Preferences and click Download. Behind the scenes this makes the same API call to Control that the Locai Control UI does. (Feature landing in a future release.)
